NVC's 2013 Peace and Conflict Summer Workshop in the news at Brandeis University!This past summer, NVC held its 1st Annual Peace adn Conflict Summer Workshop entitled "Drug Violence on the Border of Mexico adn the United States: After 50,000 Deaths, Where is the End?". The summer workshop was sponsored in part by a grant from the United States Institute of Peace and its International Education Program and in collaboration with St. Mary's University of San Antonio. More than 175 students, faculty and staff participated in four days of workshops and speaking presentations on both campuses and the NVC efforts were a great success and our work appeared on the "News from the Field" section of the Brandeis University Peacebuilding and the Arts Program from its International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life.
